EcoHabitude Founder & CEO – Kristen Drapesa

Social entrepreneur and native of Hawaii, Kristen Drapesa is an inspiration! Although I wasn’t able to meet her in person, I was able to get a glimpse of her work when I visited the EcoHabitude showroom in New York and I’m really thrilled to get some of my questions answered by her through email. As an aspiring entrepreneur momma of sorts myself, I sort of wished I could have delved more into her journey as a female entrepreneur and work-life balance, but it was probably fate that we stuck with EcoHabitude for now! How did EcoHabitude get started? What inspired you to create this company?  Working as a buyer for a green e-commerce brand, I had difficulty finding brands to buy and I began wondering why there wasn’t a central marketplace that offered products in multiple verticals where you could easily discover cool ethical & socially good products.
